In the NASA/Clear Lake office submarket, we are continuing to see office leasing statistics improve quarter over quarter since 2020. El Camino Office Park, a 88,000 SF, four building office complex, near Bay Area Blvd and NASA Parkway, has experienced a 24% increase in occupancy since ICO Commercial began leasing the project in 2021. There have been 17 leases signed in the project totaling 19,989 SF over the last 18 months.
The creative leasing strategy has targeted local companies looking to expand or relocate into this newly remodeled office project, while offering a variety of sizes from executive suites up to 10,000 SF and the ability for tenants to relocate in the middle of their lease. Coming out of the pandemic, tenants are demanding more size flexibility as their office needs expand and contract on an annual basis. With 100% of the common areas completing a full renovation, this project shines a light on the fact that outdated, vanilla box office space is a trend of the past and companies are wanting to work in an environment that is fresh, inspiring and fun. El Camino Office Park is paving the way and has positioned itself as a spotlight office project in the market.

ICO Commercial recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of our company's founding in Houston, Texas in September of 1991.
A day, that could have taken place back in 1985, wasn't complete without Marty McFly's DeLorean time machine. ICO celebrated the 30th anniversary with a photo booth, karaoke, trivia, food, drinks, and fun. In true ICO tradition, a grand celebratory cake stole the show.
"It's hard to believe it has been 30 years!" says Larry Indermuehle, as he looks at a commemorative art piece using the Indermuehle & Co. letters previously on the front of the building. "It is amazing what we have built".
